Start with the ceiling: note its height at the spot where the fixture will hang and roughly how steep the slope is. Then pick a model whose product page confirms it can be mounted on an angled ceiling, and set the drop so the bottom of the fixture sits at a comfortable height.
How does a chandelier mount on a sloped ceiling?
Every fixture here hangs on a chain or cord, so it drops straight down even when the ceiling is angled. If you want the canopy itself to sit flush against the slope, we make an angled canopy on request at no extra charge. Heavier crystal models should be fixed to a ceiling joist or a rated support. Each product page says how that model mounts.
How do I order the angled canopy?
Ask for it when you order or in a custom lighting quote request, and tell us your ceiling angle. We discuss the angle with you and confirm the fit before production.
Will any chandelier work on a vaulted ceiling?
No. Fixtures on rigid rods or with flat flush canopies often can't hang straight from an angled surface. That is why we check every product for sloped-ceiling mounting before it goes into this collection.
How low should the chandelier hang?
A common guideline is to keep the bottom at least 7 feet above the floor where people walk, or 30 to 36 inches above a dining table. On a sloped ceiling, measure from the point where the fixture will hang, not from the highest part of the ceiling.
What size should I choose?
Add the room's length and width in feet and use the total as the diameter in inches. A 14 by 16 foot room, for example, suits a fixture about 30 inches wide. Our chandelier sizing guide has more examples.
Are bulbs included, and are the fixtures UL certified?
Yes. Models with bulb sockets ship with bulbs, LED models have built-in light sources, and every fixture is UL certified.
How long does it take to get one?
Production takes 15-20 days and shipping another 5-7 days. Before we ship, we send you photos and a video of your fixture assembled and lit, so you can approve it.
