Is this real marble?

No, and that is deliberate. The cube is moulded PE and PC with an imitation marble finish. Real stone of this size would be too heavy to move, would need a fixed foundation, and outdoors would stain and eventually crack in a freeze-thaw cycle. The plastic body carries the light from the inside, survives the winter, and can be picked up and repositioned when you rearrange a terrace.

Which size should I choose?

The eight sizes do two different jobs. The small cubes - 3.9, 5.9 and 7.9 in - are path and border markers, and they work in a run rather than alone: spaced roughly 4-6 ft along a walkway they read as a rhythm. From 11.8 in upward the cube becomes an object in its own right, and the largest sizes - 23.6 and 31.5 in - are entrance-scale volumes that anchor a doorway or a corner of a courtyard. Please note they are lighting objects, not garden seating - do not sit or stand on them.

Can it stay outside through rain and winter?

Yes. IP65 means fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction, so rain, sprinklers and hosing the patio are all fine. IP65 is not an immersion rating - do not place it in a pond, a fountain or a spot on the terrace where water pools and stands.

How is it powered and installed?

Two options: plug-in, which needs an outdoor outlet within cable reach and lets you move the cube later, or ground-mounted, which fixes it in position and is the right choice for a permanent path run. It runs on AC110-240V and is UL certified. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to change.

Can I choose a cooler light?

No - this model comes in 3000K warm white only, and it is non-dimmable. That single warm tone is what makes the marble effect read as stone rather than as a plastic lantern; a cool white would flatten it.
