Two numbers decide everything: the floor-to-ceiling height of the stairwell, and the width of the open void the chandelier will hang inside. The height sets the drop, the void width sets the diameter - the fixture needs clear air all round, so a Dia47.2 in chandelier wants a void meaningfully wider than four feet. Send us both measurements and a photo up the shaft and we will specify the size for you rather than have you guess.

What does the number of heads change?

The length of the cascade, not the brightness. Within each diameter the head count sets how far the crystal falls: at Dia31.5 in, 16 heads drop 55.1 in, 24 heads drop 94.5 in and 40 heads drop 133.9 in. At Dia39.4 in the range runs 59-137.8 in, and at Dia47.2 in from 145.7 in up to 224.4 in with 68 heads. Pick the head count that fills your shaft from the ceiling down to roughly the level of the upper landing - a cascade that stops short of the landing looks undersized from the ground floor.

How much clearance do I need at the bottom?

Keep the lowest crystal at least 7 ft above any surface people walk on - the entry floor, a landing, or a stair tread that passes beneath it. Work the drop back from that: ceiling height minus 7 ft minus the height of anything below gives you the maximum cascade length. The ceiling base is Dia7.1xH2 in.

Can I dim it, and how are the bulbs replaced?

The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to change - which matters here, because the fixture hangs where a ladder will not reach. You choose non-dimmable or dimmable with a remote at order; for a stairwell the remote version is usually worth it, since there is rarely a switch within reach of the fixture. Colour temperature is also set at order: 3000K warm, 4000K neutral or 6000K cool. Voltage is AC110-240V.

Can it be made to a size that is not listed?

Shipping is free on every order, anywhere in the world. There is no minimum order value and no destination surcharge.

Orders delivered within the United States arrive with no import duties, taxes or customs fees. Orders delivered outside the United States may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees set by the destination country; these are not charged by Mirodemi and are the customer's responsibility.

In-stock items are dispatched from our United States warehouse within 2 business days and, when delivered within the United States, arrive 3-7 business days after dispatch - about 5-9 business days in total. Every other order, anywhere in the world, takes approximately 15-20 calendar days from order to delivery. For made-to-order fixtures we send you photos and video of the finished piece for approval before it ships.

Returns

Fixtures can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, including made-to-order and custom pieces, as long as they are unused, uninstalled and in original packaging. If you change your mind, we deduct from your refund the actual cost of the original delivery and of return shipping; both amounts are confirmed in writing before the return is authorised. Faulty or damaged items are returned at our expense and refunded in full.

We cannot accept returns of items that have been installed or assembled, shades and light bulbs purchased individually, or single fixtures and orders over $5,000. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and we will arrange a repair, a replacement part or a carrier claim. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
