This ski chalet in Aspen, Colorado welcomes guests into a double-height great room, where a single fixture commands the vertical space: a cascading brass and glass raindrop chandelier suspended above the stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling mountain views. Reclaimed timber beams and wide-plank oak floors frame the room, and the chandelier's tiered glass globes catch both the morning alpine light and the fire's evening glow.

 

 

 

 

The chandelier is in the spirit of our Guttara Brass Glass Raindrop Chandelier, whose tiered raindrop glass and warm brass frame read as sculpture from every level of the home. Sized for the full height of the great room, it anchors the sitting area, the dining table, and the open staircase in one continuous cascade of light. Guests often pause on the stairway landing, where the brass frame catches the last of the evening sun and throws soft, warm patterns across the stone.
