What counts as a large or extra large chandelier?
For a foyer or stairwell, a chandelier is usually called large from about 30 inches wide, or when it has a long multi-tier drop. Each product page lists the sizes available for that model.
How do I pick the right size for my foyer?
A common rule is to add the room's length and width in feet and use the total as the diameter in inches. A 16 by 14 foot foyer, for example, suits a chandelier about 30 inches wide. In a two-story foyer you can go bigger or pick a taller model so it fills the height. Our large chandelier sizing guide goes into more detail.
What works best over a staircase?
Look at the open space the chandelier will hang in. Long, multi-tier and spiral designs suit stairwells because they fill the drop between floors. Keep the bottom at least 7 feet above the stair treads.
Are bulbs included, and are the chandeliers UL certified?
Yes to both. Every chandelier ships with bulbs and is UL certified.
How long does it take to get one?
Production takes 15-20 days and shipping another 5-7 days. Before we ship, we send you photos and a video of your chandelier assembled and lit, so you can approve it.
Can I change the size or finish?
Yes. We can make any model in a custom size, finish or drop length. Send us a custom lighting quote request.
How is a heavy chandelier installed?
It needs a ceiling mount rated for its full weight, placed over the open space so it stays reachable for maintenance. Every order comes with assembly instructions, and we recommend having a licensed electrician install it.
